DESCRIPTION:**Fall Session runs August 18th through December 19th. All classes at Yuma High School\, 400 S 6th Ave in Yuma.**\n\nCivic Orchestra            Tuesdays\, 6:00PM 8:30PM\, Orchestra Classroom\n\nCivic Light Orchestra    Wednesdays 6:00PM 8:30PM\, Classroom 103\n\nString Ambassadors    Saturdays 9:15AM 12:15PM\, Classroom 103\n\nThere are 3 current performance groups under YOA. These groups go out to perform in the Yuma community to promote and add live orchestra music to the Yuma cultural community. These groups consist of the Yuma Civic Orchestra\, the Yuma Civic Light Orchestra\, and the YOA String Ambassadors.\n\nCIVIC ORCHESTRA\n\n\nThe Yuma Civic Orchestra is the largest group in the YOA. With between 30-60 players annually\, the Yuma Civic Orchestra plays 4-5 concerts a year and is the premiere classical music group in the Yuma community. Players of all ages come together to play within in the Civic Orchestra.\n\nCIVIC LIGHT\n\n\nThe Yuma Civic Light Orchestra is the premiere group that performs primarily classical chamber music\, and promotes technique work\, expanding players musical knowledge and differing musical styles. Civic Light is open to all ages\, however players must be intermediate to advanced players.\n\n \n\nSTRING AMBASSADORS\n\n\nThe String Ambassadors class is for the highly motivated 7th-12th grade student who doesn't mind having a busy performing schedule.\n\nString Ambassadors have performed in California and Arizona\, but mostly in the Yuma area to promote the Yuma String programs.
