Description
**Course is Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00AM – 11:00AM, from July 20th through September 9th. In person at the AWC Reskilling & Technology Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Dr. in Yuma**
Course Objectives:
- Engage in basic Spanish conversations for everyday situations
- Strengthen listening and speaking through guided practice
- Gain cultural insights to communicate respectfully and effectively
- Practice pronunciation and sentence structure in real-life contexts
- Develop confidence in asking and answering common questions
- Use Spanish in role-plays, dialogues, and interactive activities
Upon completion of the class, students will be able to:
- Introduce yourself and others
- Express opinions, likes, and dislikes
- Strike up a conversation
- Make dates and appointments
- Express wants and needs
- Retell a conversation
- Talk about controversial issues
Conversational Spanish can help you find unique job opportunities you might not have access to otherwise. Some jobs are only available to bilingual candidates and might have unique job duties.
