Description

There are two types of teams: family teams and adult teams. Family teams may have up to six players, but there must be at least two players under the age of 13. Adult teams may have up to four players of any age.
Each team will begin at their designated hole and play holes 1 - 17 in consecutive order. For example, a team that starts on hole number 11 will play 12 ? 17 and then 1 ? 10. Because hole 18 collects the ball, hole 18 should not be played. Instead, there will be an activity on that hole (currently working with AEA Federal Credit Union who has agreed to sponsor it).

The object of the game is to get the ball in the hole in the fewest number of strokes. Every time the putter touches the ball, that counts as ONE STROKE. Regardless of whether it barely rolled at all, regardless of whether you meant to do it or not ? it still counts as a stroke.

Regardless of the number of players on the team, four balls should be played on each hole. If a team has three players, one person on the team should play two different balls. This player should be rotated so that a different player is playing two balls each hole for a maximum of six holes each. If a family team has more than four players, only four players, two of which must be under the age of 13, should be designated to play at each hole. In every case, the player who started playing a particular ball at the beginning of each hole must be the same player hitting that ball the remainder of the time on that particular hole until the ball goes into the cup. The only exception is if there is a 2-player team. In that case, they should only play two balls and their score will be counted twice.

OUT OF BOUNDS: In the event of the ball going out-of-bounds, the ball should just be placed back where it left the green. Both the stroke going out of bounds and the hit after replacing should be counted. There is no penalty stroke like there would be in traditional golf.

PLAY: Balls along the rail or any obstacle may be moved out by the length of one putter head from the rail or obstacle. If your ball is hit by another player?s ball, you may put your ball back in its original place. There is a five stroke maximum per player on all holes.

WINNERS: The team who plays the 18 holes in the fewest strokes is the winner (all four team members? scores will be added together for each hole). Ties will be broken in this way: Lowest team score on hole 17. If still tied, lowest team score on hole 16 will be used. This process will continue counting down (hole 15, then hole 14, etc.) until a winner is determined. If teams are still tied, the winner will be determined by a random drawing.

HOLES IN ONE: All players who achieve a hole-in-one on any hole will be given a drawing ticket for each hole-in-one. One ticket holder will be drawn from all entries for a specific hole-in-one prize.
