I am thrilled to introduce "CAVARTWORKS, The Ensorcelled Conjuring's of Christopher Alexander Vazquez," my very first exhibition featuring my visionary artwork. As an artist specializing in experimental mixed media, I am captivated by showcasing the interplay of calculation and chaos, which shines through in every piece I create. Deliberately incorporating accidental compositions and integrating geometric elements are central to my artistic expression and reflect my profound fascination.
With meticulous precision, I carefully select color schemes that establish the desired ambiance, setting the stage for my creative process. I gather materials and construct gestural silhouettes, infusing them with a harmonious blend of broad and fine lines of geometry. Layer by layer, my artworks come to life, unveiling captivating, intricately detailed, three-dimensional handmade masterpieces.
This exhibition is an invitation to embrace an unconventional understanding of raw fluidity in gestural and abstract art. From a journey that initially lacked direction, my experimentation across diverse mediums has led me to discover the perfect artistic process, leaving me exhilarated and opening up a boundless new reality. Through unwavering perseverance, I refine these momentary realities, offering observers a profound testament to the inherent limits of our perception. Join me on this extraordinary artistic journey at "CAVARTWORKS, The Ensorcelled Conjuring’s of Christopher Alexander Vazquez."

“The Shape of AZ/MEX Commenting On The Shape of AZ/MEX,” Works by Jimmy Descant
I am a Severe ReConstructivist. I moved to Tucson in 2018 and started creating my own literal and abstract physical/metaphorical outline of our state, Mexico, border conditions, and SW relative topics in instant assemblage art performances with bands, Dj’s, and alternative creative scenes - all at the moment inspirations with localized messages. Loud, fast, fire, sometimes bloody… the antithesis of ‘action painter.’
I started doing live assemblage art performances in 2010 in response to the economic meltdown, then went on to write and perform larger shows with and without casts, all unrehearsed for in-the-moment inspirations of in-the-moment American greatness and failures. A contemporary, commentary using parts of the past to send a message about the present and future - here in Arizona and America.
I see in the parts found at thrift stores, junk yards, trash nights, and flea markets my vision of what craftsmen put into their anonymous vision and expression of their part in creating the Golden Age of American manufacturing, and compounded my observation of the West’s environmental, socio-political current events, and First Peoples imagery; calling my style “Western Futurism.”
