Glowing Hearts Festival

Did you know that September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month? Every year, we at LONG Realty collaborate with the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center to raise meaningful funds, & much needed awareness, around the emotional and financial needs of children diagnosed with cancer throughout our community. 

Having a child with cancer presents a considerable dilemma for any family. The Pediatric Oncology Support Fund, established by the YRMC Foundation, is in place to help families with the financial burdens of this disease. This fund can help cover travel costs for families such as gas, hotel stays, & meals, along with household bills or other specific needs of the patient. 

Families of patients awarded can receive up to $5,500 to help alleviate some of these hardships. With this mission in mind, we are excited to invite you to join us in making a contribution toward this cause. 

Please join us on Saturday, September 30th from 6-9 PM for our “Glowing Hearts” event at the Colorado River State Historic Park. This will be a family-style outing for our community’s children. In an effort to make this event a success, we’d love your support! 

We have an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 this year.
