SYNOPSIS ENGLISH: Soledad, a traditional healer, lives with her grandson Jose in an Indigenous village. Soledad’s daughter, Adela, moved to Mexico City many years ago and now wants Jose to join her, but Soledad believes the boy is better off in the village.

SINOPSIS ESPAÑOL: Soledad es una curandera tradicional que vive con su nieto José, de siete años, en una comunidad indígena. Un día, Adela, la madre de José que hace años se fue a trabajar a la Ciudad de México, llama con la noticia de que se va a casar y quiere que su hijo se vaya con ella a vivir a la capital. Sin embargo, Soledad cree que José se encuentra mejor en el pueblo. Abuela y nieto no saben lo que les depara el futuro, pero tendrán que enfrentar esta inminente y difícil separación.
