Desert Heat Elite is Yuma County's premier all-star cheerleading program, dedicated to developing athletes through elite-level training, leadership, and character building. Based at Dancers Workshop in Yuma, Arizona, we provide a positive, family-oriented environment where athletes of all skill levels can grow in confidence, teamwork, and athletic ability. As the first elite cheer program in Yuma County to compete internationally, our mission is to make high-quality cheer accessible through mentorship, fundraising opportunities, and a commitment to helping every athlete reach their fullest potential both on and off the mat using grades, attendance, and making this program affordable for those in a financial hardship. The program is ran by Coaches who have their BA from NMSU and NAU; One in education and family studies and the other in Kinestheology.
