About Us

With more than 327,000 members, the Fraternal Order of Police is the largest law enforcement union in the United States. The benefits of membership include access to the best legal plan available to law enforcement, aggressive employment representation, effective political relationships at the local, state and national level and a reputation for taking care of our membership.

After years of discussion the Yuma Lodge has decided to construct a proper monument to Honor the 36 law enforcement officers from the Yuma area communities who have died or been killed in the line of duty. The City of Yuma Parks and Rec Department is excited about the project and is allowing the monument to be built in the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex (PAAC). We cannot thank them enough for donating the area for this monument.

The design was voted on by the members present over several meetings. Penn Signs designer, Ron Contreras, has been an enormous help with the design and process so far.

This project is relying on the help from our community and businesses for donations. There are ways you can donate to help. There is a window on this site’s main page that will allow for a donation via credit card or PayPal. You can also make a donation to the Yuma Lodge by mailing a check or money order to: F.O.P. Yuma Lodge #24 P.O. Box 6283 Yuma, AZ 85366 The Lodge will be holding several fund raising events as well.

We are shooting for the construction to be completed by April 2019. More information to follow as we progress through this project.
