WOW Electronics Publishes Case Study on Cocopah Casino & Resort Event Center AV Integration

YUMA, AZ — WOW Electronics, a Yuma technology integrator serving the community since 1972, has published a case study on its design-build audio/video integration of the new Event Center at Cocopah Casino & Resort in Somerton, Arizona.

With no outside AV consultant design or specification available, WOW developed the technology plan from the ground up, covering audio, video, control, stage lighting, digital signage, and AV networking for the main Event Center, three banquet and conference rooms, concession areas, and public spaces. Manufacturer engineering teams at dBTechnologies and Sonance supported loudspeaker coverage modeling.

Project highlights:

• Main Event Center: dBTechnologies line-array sound system with Allen & Heath mixing and networked I/O, Sony laser projection on a 220-inch motorized Draper screen, and CHAUVET Professional stage lighting.
• Banquet and conference rooms: Crestron DM NVX video and DM NAX audio distribution, Sony laser projection, and Crestron touch-panel control, allowing rooms to operate independently or be combined.
• Building-wide: Sonance distributed audio for meetings, circulation areas, and public spaces, plus 14 Samsung commercial displays for digital signage.

WOW Electronics handled programming, configuration, testing, acoustic tuning, and final commissioning.
